Our COVID-19 Response

In March 2020, the Voice cLoud launched our own digital inclusion programme and digital access consultation.

This consultation programme has run throughout the pandemic with an to identify and assist specific “getting online” need to alleviate the acute isolation that we believe many Suffolk residents will experience.

In particularly, we have sought to identify people who have been disproportionately affected by low tech confidence or understanding and therefore susceptible to extended isolation as a result of not being able to stay connected with friends, families and hobbies via such platforms as Zoom, Skype, Facebook, Facetime and others.

We have remotely supported free of charge over 100 individuals, families or couples to “get online”; supporting social confidence, wellbeing issues and mental ill health that we believe will emerge as a direct result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
