The Voice cLoud in association with The Seagull Theatre and with support from Suffolk Community Foundation proudly presents the fourth edition of our (free to watch!) exclusive live online festive show performance ‘A CHRISTMAS SPECIAL’ on SUNDAY 17th DECEMBER at 2.30pm created specially for care homes.
Experience the magic of the festive season with ‘A Christmas Special’ – a professionally produced Christmas show specifically created for care settings and residential homes across Suffolk and the nation.
This live virtual concert will be broadcast from The Seagull Theatre in Lowestoft, Suffolk on SUNDAY 17th DECEMBER at 2.30pm and live-streamed in full 1080p high-definition to care and residential homes completely FREE OF CHARGE!
‘A Christmas Special’ will recreate the atmosphere of the family-viewing TV specials of the 1950s and ’60s and promote fun, engagement and reminiscence whilst celebrating the very best Christmas songs and holiday music of this bygone era and the golden era of Swing, featuring such festive classics as ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’, ‘White Christmas’, ‘Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire’, ‘It’s Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas’ and ‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town’ and many others.
This extraordinary production was born out of the challenges posed by the 2020 lockdown and in 2023, as we prepare to unveil an all-new production that will celebrate the festive season, we will continue the tradition of our popular Christmas concerts from 2020, 2021, and 2022, which have each captivated over 200 care homes across England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales!

Settle your residents in front of their TV in their best Christmas jumpers and festive hats, get comfortable, pass round the mince pies and tune in for this heart-warming show as we take you on a musical journey paying homage to the best singers from the golden age of swing and the big band era including Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Andy Williams, Brenda Lee, Dean Martin, Louis Armstrong, Perry Como, Bing Crosby and Matt Monro to name a few.
